Under the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project VETPRO, European University, Samtskhe-Javakheti State University, and Shota Meskhia Zugdidi State Teaching University have developed free massive online open courses (MOOCs) tailored for farmers, veterinary students, and professionals interested in animal health and welfare.

The topics for these courses were selected based on the results of a survey conducted at the beginning of the project to identify the most pressing needs in the field. As a result, the following courses were developed:

• Animal Wellbeing
• National Animal Identification – Registration and Traceability System (NAITS)
• Some Epidemic Infectious Diseases of Animals in Georgia
• Veterinary Legislation in Georgia

These courses provide essential knowledge and practical insights to improve animal health management in Georgia.
