On November 27-29 of the current year, a series of workshops was conducted within the framework of the EC-funded project “Development of Veterinary Faculties at Georgian HEIs to Create a New Pool of Young Veterinary Professionals in Georgia” (VETPRO).

The workshops aimed at enhancing the academic, research and professional development skills of the academic and visiting staff of Veterinary Medicine programmes. Representatives of the Estonian University of Life Sciences and the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies delivered a total of five seminars during three days. The addressed topics stimulated lively discussions among the participants.

It should be noted that the workshops were attended by the academic personnel of the Veterinary Medicine not only from the Samtskhe-Javakheti State University and Zugdidi State Teaching University that are Georgian partners of the project consortium, but also from Georgian Technical University and Agricultural University of Georgia.
